| Winter Park Rug Gallery was founded by Mr.& Mrs Sia Farshi in 2004. Mr. Sia Farshi is a respected expert on the subject of Oriental carpets along with being an established dealer of art level, new and antique, carpets in the Central Florida & New England area.
Raised in a family
of educators, collectors and dealers of Oriental carpets, he grew up among
the merchants of Tehran and Tabriz, two of the major carpet producing
centers in Iran.In 1989, After pursuing his business education in the
United States, he established his first oriental rug company in Brookline
Massachusetts.After 15 years of business and the love of the Orlando area
Mr.Farshi brought his family to Winter Park and established the Winter
Park Rug Gallery. This fund will be used for needs unmet by other disaster relief organizations also working to help rebuild lives and communities.
