with a long history of weaving.The famous Ardebil carpet, now
in the Victoria & Albert Museum, was made in Kashan.The kashan
weavers favor classical elongated medallion designs with corner
declarations.This particular piece is a good example of the
great workmanship from the kashan region which are always made
with the highest quality dyes and knot counts.
