  this is a very beautiful karajeh design from Turkey. karajeh is a village near Heriz in azerbijan province of Iran. Northwest Persian designs are often geometric depicting the nature surrounding the area. This rug is a fine workmanship of Turkish weavers utilizing Persian designs and weaving techniques. All the dyes are natural and this creates a very soft and muted look in the surface of the rug. A beautiful rug for both contemporary and traditional settings.
